There are so few places to find quality info about the game that I figured a thread with interesting tidbits of info could go a long way. Feel free to post any information you find that you feel would be interesting and informative for people wanting to learn more about Allods Online. Official Allods Online Website / ForumsEU Website (Better than NA one) RU Website (Better than them all. Translate via Google) For the second question. At lvl 23 you WILL(no exceptions if you wanna lvl) be sent to Holy Lands. In Holy Lands you get to quest with the opposing faction and most quests involve killing their soldiers/players or taking over strategic points or sabotaging their stuff. One of the first places you will be sent to is Spider Hill. Atop the hill is a place of power that gives you a 10min buff if you stand on it. Thats ofc is a good thing to have. On either side of the hill are Liga and Imperia camps. Let me tell you something. When I got to that Hill....I had the most fun I have ever had in the game. PvPing with Imperia was wicked fun. Alas, it didnt last too long. After about an hour of awesome combat a lvl 40 Imperia Mage came over and ruined everything(that [I Am A Potty Mouth]!). But in conclusion: Yes you will be sent to a place where you quest and PvP at same time. SourcePeople keep saying that the game is like Hillsbrad and Stranglethorn mixed together. That the game's open-world PvP resembles WoW in its infancy before battlegrounds even existed. This was the best PvP WoW ever had.

Comment from RU player INC!!
Paladins are best at SINGLE TARGET tanking, ie: boss fights. They cannot hold agro on more then 2 mobs effectively due to limitations on how fast they can apply marks + Anaphema(dunno whats it called in English sry)(The one that inc the threat from strike x5). How ever once they get that combo up on a mob then its almost impossible to agro from them not to mention that if the Paladin is not a noob and knows how to operate barriers effectively then you will see that he takes almost no dmg.(Exceptions being chain criticals)
Warriors are best at MULTIPLE TARGET tanking ie:trash. That doesnt mean that they fail at tanking bosses it just means its a lot harder for them to do so not to mention that it is hard to heal them while they are tanking a hard hitting boss. Where a paladin can shrug off 1 million dmg (YES IT IS POSSIBLE, paladins have an ability that allows them to remove any dmg from their 1st barrier no matter how big the dmg is) a warrior will most definitely bite the dust. The reason why they are great at tanking multiple mobs is that they have many melee abilities that hit Everything in front of them, thus, generating a ton of agro if repeated enough times. Necromancers(or summoners if you like) are best raid healer due to their incredibly strong AoE heals. They can also do great single target heals but their true strength is those AoE HoTs they toss out. Not only do they heal a lot they also stay on for a lengthy period of time. However, Priests are best at single target healing and are capable of delivering huge heals almost instantaneously to a tank who just took a hit worth 90% of his hp. They can get an AoE heal in one of their talent trees but its inferior to the one Necromancers get from their skill tree.
So there you have it.
Oh, one more thing before I forget. Due to the nature of Necromantic healing (hurt enemy, heal ally) Necros do great damage with their diseases and poisons while at the same time healing their allies.

At lvl 10 u will get 3 trees of skills/talents to build your character and u need rubies to put them there but you dont get them for free every lvl like you get talent points, I think you need to buy rubies. You buy them from your class trainer. At lvl 10 it costs you 1 gold and it's price grows a bit each lvl you gain. And that talent trees looks like this In skill tree you can improve your existing abilities or stats, but besides that you can also give your abilities additional effects (example, my seer has one square which is called "Doppelganger's Curse", which gives my enemy periodic astral damage if my "twin" from my "twin" ability is killed".
Not only that, but in your tree there are also a few NEW abilities scattered, so far I have found Mind Fire for me (DoT) and Superficial Trance (Normal trance, but instead of the usual 20 secs in combat, it only takes 5 and gives me mental overload rather than making me immune to it for 30 secs.
Skill Tree Gives you the following squares:
*Multiple Stat Increases. *New effects and improvements to existing abilities. *Few new Abilities.
This will give your class a new twist, for me I cna expand to either of my 3 trees:
Mind Link: Mind Manipulation, improve my performance when I enter mind link with enemy.
IN DEVELOPMENT(They didn't give it a name yet, based of psyche shock ability): More range for my attacks and overall stat increases.
Shockwave: Making me stronger regardless if I have mind link with opponent or not.
Hope that helps.

Behind the Scenes: Astral Ships Astral ships are a very important and useful gameplay element in Allods Online. Pretty much every player will want to own a ship, sooner or later. It’s not an easy thing though, as owning a ship requires co-operation, an investment of time, and in-game money. After reaching a certain level, players can get a specific quest that reveals the secret processes involved in building a ship. Astral ships are complex devices, so the process of building them takes a lot of time. There are ways to speed up the process by completing sub quests that reward you with useful materials. The next quest in the line will involve a group of high level players going through a dungeon. A small time investment in ship building each day can lead to a ship being built in a third of the normal time. Players can also watch the ship being build in the hangar bar and see if grow bit by bit. This hangar can be entered by going to the Astral Academy, which also contains a dock for parking your ship, and a repair shipyard. The Astral Academy is always packed with explorers, customers, traders and NPC characters in charge of the Astral quests. It is the ideal place to meet other players looking for Astral adventures, Astral storytellers and a place to find out the latest intel on pirates. About the two factions (more of a lore-type thing): The League: Kanians, Elves, and Gibberlings
Founded upon the precepts of honor, devotion, and nobility, the noble Kanians, mystical elves, and inquisitive Gibberlings comprise the League. The League is led by Aidenus, the Great Mage of Kania, and covers 10 major allods centered around the capital. Unlike the Empire, which is driven by the pursuit of military and scientific superiority, the League protects its people with the strength of its army and the commitment of its citizens. For thousands of years, the Kanians have resisted the ceaseless incursions of the Xadaganian army. This is now reflected in the League’s unwavering position against Xadaganian, orcish, and Arisen depredations. One of the most noteworthy aspects of the League is the Church of Light, The Church is the oldest existing religion on Sarnaut and allows all races to openly worship Tensess. The Kanians and elves are the strongest disciples of the Church, as the religion never truly caught on with the free-spirited Gibberlings...
The Empire: Xadaganians, Orcs and Arisen
Ruthless, industrial, and militaristic, the Empire’s single-mindedness is reflected equally in all its citizens: the zealous Xadaganians, brutal orcs, and brilliant Arisen. Subjugated and humiliated by the Kanians millennia ago, the injustice still remains hot in Xadaganian blood and purpose, and extends to all aspects of the Empire’s citizenry. Legend has it that the Great Mage Nezeb roused the nomadic Xadaganian people and led them in righteous war against the malevolent Kanians. The leader of the Empire, the Great Mage Yasker, continues his crusade against the League from the Empire’s capital allod. Supported by the swords and shields of the orcs and the arcane mastery of the Arisen, the Empire has constantly kept the League on the defensive. In contrast to the League’s singular worship of Tensess, the Empire follows the Trinity Church, where Tensess, Nezeb, and Skrakan are worshipped equally. Religion is an unimportant part of Empire life, however, and the Xadaganians are just as likely to worship Yasker, the Arisen focus on scientific pursuits, and the orcish Reavers strive to convert only their own people...

Wow! Thanks for all the info, that's some great stuff! I was a Russian Linguist in the Army for 5 years but it was 15 years ago. Needless to say my russian is not very good anymore. I cruised the Russian Allods site a few times, picking up bits and pieces to give me more info but this thread didn't give me the headache i had after so much sifting. Can read it and pronounce everything but trying to figure out what it all means is a different story. Thanks for getting it all in one place. The astral ship stuff looks awesome!

The Warden's Tip Section (Updated as I find more Warden Stuff) Warden combat effectiveness doesn't rely on "combat stats" like strength and finesse. Those values depend on the "magic stats" like intelligence and perseverance. Your pet is also directly strengthened by your intelligence and perseverance score. Int (Increases pet's damage and Warden's damage in both melee and spells) Luck (increases crit chance) Willpower (Reduces enemy's chance to resist spells and increases mana pool) Perception (Chance to hit and hit for a higher % of full value of damage for Warden and pet in melee and spells) (Rough outline, some stats missing and descriptions may not be entirely correct but from what I've played they're close. You'll want to have very high Int AND Perception or you'll suck.) Warden Petskanian male : bear kanian female: lynx gibberling male/female: Squirl orc male: boar (changing to Goblin with sword) orc female: wolf (changing to Goblin with tambourine) Pets progress in look as you progress. Comprehensive Warden Melee Guide/Build: This Guide is full of information for Melee spec'd Wardens. It has a skill tree build and a talent tree build, as well as stat advice and equipment advice.

Hey Keen! (This is Nollind Whachell). Awesome list of info so far. This looks very very promising. For example, the differences between Necromancers and Priests sounds exactly what I've alway wanted to see with regards to healing (especially from a tanks perspective). The ability for a Priest to almost insta-heal a critical hit on a single tank is awesome.

Psionicist Tips and Tricks GuideBasic Skills: You get these along the way to 6 and the class specific skill at 7. IMPORTANT SKILL(Gibberling Psionsonly?) * Psionic Contact: passive ability that does MUCH MUCH more then what it says . More on this in a bit Psyche Shock: Your bread and butter spam button a channeled spell that deals damage every second for 3 seconds. Shock Wave: Contrary to what this says it is NOT really a stun the way the other stuns in the game are setup its more of a Hold,Interrupt,Disable. Any direct damage taken while in Shock Wave breaks it. DoTS seem to have a chance to break it but doesn't always happen. Kind of weird Mental LinkThe crazy skill!, kind of.. Using this skill links you to the target giving you access to 3 new abilities (1 time use for the Mental link at least for Gibberlings). It also increases your Conviction for its duration(Stat that increases your chance to use control skills like this one) The 3 abilities that are unlocked Destruction Conciousness: Up front astral damage Paralysis: 3 second STUN Astral Decessication: 4 Second DoT You can only use 1 of the 3 abilities ONCE during a said Mental Link(Gibberlings at least). Once you use the ability you are afflicted by Mental Overload for a few seconds (Reduces your Strength,Intelligence and Perception) Not really important at the moment as its only 2 stacks. However I am sure it will make a bigger impact later because there are more skills that debuff you with Mental Overload later on . But for now don't worry not much of a big deal!. Erasing Memory: Destroys the Mental Link with your target in order to deal damage. LALALA this skill can be insane but isn't worth using if you are chain killing mobs or have 2 mobs on you! Explanation soon. By now you should be on your merry way to getting more talent points and should be getting the 2nd row anytime now. Here's the important part . Talents 2nd Row your first target is TWIN:Whats better then 3 Gibberlings? SIX!. This requires a mental link on your target .. You should figure that out by now . This is like a target dummy it doesn't attack and takes extra damage but that means you aren't taking the damage!. You basically set this up where ever you are around you and it makes you invisible to the Mental Linked mob until the dummy dies . Trance: An evocation skill fully restores your mana after 10 seconds of channeling. Restores mana in % chunks biggest 2 chunks at the end are most important so don't break the channel by moving:P. *NOTE* This skill if you let it reach its full duration provides you a 30 second buff called Enlightenment. Enlightenment makes you immune to Mental Overload debuffs for 30 seconds . Talent Suggestions : Level 2 Psyche Shock Level 1 Twin Level 1 Trance Level 2 Twin Level 3 Psyche Shock or Level 3 Twin (The copy only takes 80% damage with level 3 Twin) Test any tier 3 skill when you hit 11(which you can) The shield talent is slightly useless for the time being it only absorbs one hit with a 4 second duration. Now for killing mobs without losing HP (most of the time ) And a secret not many people are noticing! Lets pretend Smiley #1  is evil monster Smiley #2 :geek: is you and Smiley #3  is your Twin(copy) this is how you get the most out of your positioning and dps before the mob might potentially kill the twin and come after you  ------------------------------------- :geek: ------------------------ When you cast Twin you are INVISIBLE to that mob until the twin dies or expires(60 second duration) so the mob now has to run that entire distance to get to your Twin to begin attacking it giving you plenty of time to dps it down. Once you get this down you can set it up rather quickly and kill mobs fast. Cast order until level 10 Mental Link(6 second cast on first one won't ever have to channel it again for 6 sec if you follow my instructions)> follow it up with Psyche Shock spam and either the direct damage or Damage Over Time mental link ability and then just continue Psyche Shocking until the mob is dead . Why not Erasing Memory you ask? Well here is why(assuming only gibberling passive ) Psionic Contact This randomly procs an instant cast Mental Link for 30 seconds when you cast spells BUT if you kill the mob with any of your spells EXCEPT Erasing Memory it will proc on monster death.. Understand now? With this knowledge you can now move from mob to mob without stopping to cast a 6 second Mental Link. *TIP* When you are low on mana mental link the next mob then use Trance to recover your mana and still have the mental link up when you are done. Hope this helps you get started and a bit more lol And some info some people may not have known yet..

Allods Online PvP Types
There are different kinds of [traditional] PvP in Allods Online.
(Open-World PvP) Players can fight in free PvP zones. They will reach these zones for the first time at about level 20. Such zones are places of open combat between the League and the Empire, so players can kill enemies along with doing quests and chatting. A hunter can become the prey, so be careful!
(DAOC/WAR Style Objective based PvP) The Holy Land allod is worth mentioning separately. Faction vs. Faction combats will be rewarded there. Players will fight for special points on the allod to receive bonuses. It will be an extremely cruel battle; don’t think for even a moment that you can be merciful in those lands.
(Arenas)For those who prefer to follow rules (more or less), special arenas were created. Those are small areas near Xadaganian and Kanian capitals where players can fight. The number of combat participants is not restricted. Each player within the arena borders is considered to be a participant. Players can always run away from arena and enter it again. They are used mostly for fights within the factions and friendly bouts.
Goblin-o-Ball (Mini-game) Goblin-O-Ball is the first unique PvP of it’s type. Goblin-O-Ball is based upon football. As a national Orc sport, they are pretty confident that they look much better on the field then those 11 skinny other guys with a ball. This is a game constantly discussed during drunken parties and a reason for street fights. The main difference between Goblin-O-Ball and football is that force and strength are much more important than your football skills. The game is set in a special arena in a Contested area. Two teams of six players can participate. League vs. League, Empire vs. Empire and League vs. Empire. The goal is to shoot 9 goals into the opponent’s gates. But you’ll have a real goblin instead of ball!
Allods Online's Astral Ship PvP
The first part of Astral Combat, ship versus ship combat, can be compared to tanks dueling. Two crews compete in ship management skills, using everything at their disposal, including landscape. Try to avoid the opponents’ attacks and find the weakest place on their ship to strike. Each member of the crew can be a helmsman, navigator, engineer or cannoneer. Only excellent teamwork can help surviving in such a battle.
The second part of Astral Combat begins when the opponents’ shields are gone and the boarding begins. The unlucky one without shields can prepare to defend the ship and any loot aboard!
Battle is conducted right on the ship’s deck. Such a battle can be compared with modern shooter games when players have several goals to reach. They will need to destroy the engine as well as reach the treasure room, steal the loot, and bring it to their ship. The other crew should defend its treasures and stop the enemy. Fallen players revive in a special area on the ship. If any loot is stolen, the victors must make it back to harbour before it is safe for counting.
